5 of 5 GISHWHES Stories

This is the final of 5 I am writing to help those on the #GISHWHES scavenger hunt. Misha Collins wanted short stories 140 words or less about an elopus, Misha, and the Queen of England. Fun enough. This is for team The Filthy Llamas at the request of @lilbitsquishy, on Twitter:

Misha Collins walked aside his llama, the Queen riding atop and wearing a fowl expression. Trekking through the hot desert sands, Misha wished he had left his trench coat at home.

“Do you ever bathe this filthy beast?” asked the Queen.

“It’s okay Carl,” said Misha patting the llama on its side. “She doesn’t mean it.”

“Of course I mean it,” insisted the Queen.

The llama let out a hum just as the sand in front of the convoy burst up and an elopus rose from the cover of the desert. With its tentacles flailing wildly, it charged towards Misha and the Queen.

Misha let out a piercing shriek, quickly running from the elephant-octopus hybrid. Fortunately, his llama was more collected, kicking the elopus in the jaw and causing the beast to return to its hiding beneath the sand.
